Yoko Ono - Signed and Inscribed Christmas Card, New York 1985

A Christmas card signed and inscribed by Yoko Ono. The card measures approximately 7" x 6" and features a photograph of Yoko Ono with her son Sean Lennon sitting next to a Santa in their apartment in the Dakota building, New York.

The inscription in black ink reads: "To Lasse, Love, Yoko and Sean, Xmas '85 NYC".

The card comes with its original postmarked envelope sent from New York. The card is in excellent, clean condition without staining or creases. The envelope is tanned at the margins and creased around the corners; Very Good condition overall.

Yoko Ono (born 1933) is a Japanese-American artist, musician, and peace activist, widow of John Lennon, and a pioneering figure in the Fluxus movement and conceptual art. The 1985 date places this card in the period following Lennon's death in December 1980, during Ono's residence at the Dakota building in New York, where the photograph was taken.
