First Printings of the first editions, a workman-like set, both books remain firmly bound and square, free from owners names, annotations and underlining etc. Some marks to the edges and toning to the block commensurate with age.
The dustjackets are more or less complete, corner-splitting with very minor loss, Vol 2 with a couple of tears down the joints. Both of the jackets are heavily sunned/faded at their spines.
