The Brigand of Kandahar - Vintage First Screening Movie Poster, 1965

An original Finnish first-screening poster for The Brigand of Kandahar (1965), the Hammer Film Productions adventure drama starring Oliver Reed, then rapidly establishing himself as one of British cinema’s most compelling leading men. Co-starring Ronald Lewis (misspelled “Levis” on the poster) and Duncan Lamont. Premiered in Finland in November 1965, never re-released.

Printed by Fotopaino Oy. Signed in the plate by artist Lindqvist. Titles in Finnish and Swedish. Full-bleed. Standard Finnish A2, approximately 16 × 23.5 inches.

Condition: C7, Fine. Folded with centre crease. Creasing to the top left corner consistent with clamp mounting. Minor edge wear including a couple of tiny colour chips to the left edge. Excellent clean condition otherwise.
