An attractive copy of this first edition. Black cloth with gilt titles and decorations to the spine.

The binding remains square and reasonably tight - no reading creases to the spine. Small and neat owner name to the top of the half-title. Upper corners lightly bumped, spine tips no longer tight. The block is reasonably fresh - small mark at top edge, appears to be from the binding glue. Not quite Fine but very near it.

The dustjacket is not price-clipped. Minor creases at the extremities, no nicks or tears, Near Fine. A very decent copy.
