A presentation copy inscribed by Kitamura to Posy Simmonds - illustrator and author of Tamara Drewe, Gemma Bovery, and the long-running Guardian strip - at the half-title, with an accompanying original drawing. A notable association between two significant figures in British children’s illustration.

Condition: Very Good. A clean copy, well-read with bumping to all extremities and a slight lean.
