Ray Bradbury - Typed Letters Signed/Inscribed
Two typed-letters written and signed by Ray Bradbury, one with hand-written notes. In addition, a pre-drafted letter to the author with interview questions which Bradbury has inscribed and signed.
Letter 1. To J. Chapmans, one page, envelope included, on his personalised stationery. Bradbury discusses his sources of inspiration and influences: "I admired Poe and Lovecraft as a young writer...then grew into Huxley.Wells, GB Shaw etc. They are all my teachers."
Letter 2.To Peter Michielsen, one page, envelope included, on letterhead. Concerning a proposed interview, "The fee would be modest for the interview. Would $200 be acceptable to your editors?"
Letter 3. A pre-drafted questionnaire on which Bradbury has provided typed answers along with a typed message - "SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES" - below which he has hand-signed and inscribed the document.
A superb group of letters from this enduringly respected and admired author.
