Ralph Steadman - Time Out Poster, Impaled Gargoyle, Signed

An original poster created by Ralph Steadman for the London listings magazine Time Out, circa 1980. The image — a characteristically anarchic Steadman composition — was distributed folded as an insert within the magazine.

Signed in the plate, as issued, but this example has been additionally hand-signed and doodled by the artist in ink — making it a uniquely personalised copy.

Ralph Steadman (b. 1936) is best known for his long collaboration with Hunter S. Thompson and his visceral, satirical illustration style. Original signed Steadman works outside the fine art market are increasingly scarce.

Remains folded, with fold lines noticeable — these should resolve in time when mounted and framed. Otherwise in excellent condition.
