Paul Newman in Exodus - First Screening Cinema Movie Poster, 1961

An original Finnish first-screening poster for Exodus (1960), Otto Preminger’s sweeping United Artists epic starring Paul Newman with Eva Marie Saint, Ralph Richardson, Peter Lawford, and Lee J. Cobb.

First screened in Finland in September 1961. Printed by Piirtopaino Oy, Helsinki. Standard Finnish A2, approximately 23.5 × 15.25 inches.

Unusually, the title was not translated into Finnish. The English-language title was retained and the existing artwork reproduced directly into the standard Finnish A2 format, making this poster effectively identical in design to the contemporary US/UK release.

Condition: C7, Very Good. Two horizontal folding creases. Staple holes to each corner. Very small stain to the verso bleeding through to the upper part of the “X” in “Exodus”. A few minor creases around the folds. Otherwise clean and very nice throughout.
