A theatre programme for The Palace Theatre (London) production of On Your Toes in 1984. The programme has been signed by Director (and co-author of the book upon which the musical was based), George Abbott, and star/principal dancer Natalia Makarova.
The Russian prima ballerina was awarded the Lawrence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for this West End performance, having already bagged a Tony for the Broadway equivalent.
Stapled glossy wrappers, unpaginated, illustrated with photographs of the principal cast members as well the usual biographical snapshots etc. In VG to Near Fine condition with just some minor rubbing along the spine and tiny creasing to corners. An excellent association.
