Butterfield 8 - Vintage Finnish First Screening Movie Poster, 1960

Original Finnish first-screening poster for Butterfield 8 (1960), the MGM drama starring Elizabeth Taylor and Laurence Harvey. Distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Helsinki. First and only theatrical run in Finland, 1960. Taylor won the Academy Award for Best Actress for this role at the 33rd Academy Awards, 1961.

Full-bleed design, printed by Fotopaino Oy. Artist-signed in the plate. Standard Finnish A2, approximately 60 × 40 cm. A striking poster with vivid colouring and a superb image of Taylor.

Condition: C6, Very Good with faults. Folded; crease to centre. Two staple holes to each corner; secondary pinhole top right. Small nick to the right edge; ¾ inch tear to the right edge, neatly repaired with tape to the verso. Small water stain to verso, does not bleed through. Some minor handling creases.
