A superb, unread copy of the author's acclaimed fantasy novel.

A large, very heavy book prone to leaning and other structural wear but this is a straight, tight, unbumped copy of the black-dustjacketed version with the dark-coloured edges.

Minor white-ish marks to the bottom edge from the binding glue - a common but minor production fault with this version. The block is starting to pull away from the backstrip a little but neverthless a Very Fine copy in Fine, unclipped dustjacket.

SIGNED by both Susanna Clarke and illustrator Portia Rosenberg at the title page and now very difficult to find in this state.

Provenance: this author-signed copy was purchased directly from the illustrator, Portia Rosenberg who, at the time of publication, established a Pop-up shop to sell double-signed copies!
