Blue cloth with gilt titles to upper cover and backstrip. Crushed both at the crown and at the foot of the backstrip but otherwise a tight, square copy and very clean and bright - Near Fine. 

The dustjacket is also clean and bright, unclipped but with shelf-wear along the edges and at the spine ends. There is a small tear at the top corner of the rear panel and small nick to the top edge of the front flap.

SIGNED and dedicated to his Finnish translator (and film critic), Reijo Lehtonen, by John Banville at the title page, a nice association copy.
