Japanese Swordsmanship: Technique and Practice by Gordon Warner and Donn F. Draeger covers the history, philosophy, and practice of kenjutsu and iaijutsu, the classical Japanese sword arts. Draeger (1922–1982) was one of the foremost Western authorities on Japanese martial arts, among the first Westerners accepted into Japanese martial arts institutions. A Phaidon price-sticker in Sterling to the top corner of the front flap suggests this to be the US edition exported to the UK.
Condition: Very Good in Very Good dustjacket. Dustjacket sunned and colour-faded at the spine.
