James M. Cain - Autograph Letter Signed

An autograph letter signed by the author of The Postman Always Rings Twice, Mildred Pierce and Double Indemnity, amongst many others.

Responding to a fan request, the author obliges with his autograph. Dated Dec 29, 1947, one page, on his letterhead, the sheet measures 8.5 x 11 inches, not far from A4. The handwriting is expansive and almost fills the page.

Tanning to the paper commensurate with age, 2 folding creases (not prominent). At the verso, an inked date, 1/3/48, centred. Otherwise in excellent condition.
