Published in London by Orion, 1999.
First Edition, thus, First Printing, hardcover in dustjacket, collecting the first three Inspector Rebus novels, Knots & Crosses, Hide & Seek and Tooth & Nail (a.k.a. Wolfman)
Apart from a dent and a scar to the cloth at the spine in the area around the "R" in the author's name - likely to be the result of being dropped or damaged in transit - an attractive copy. Square and tight, perhaps unread. No owner names etc, the block remains fresh- microscopic mark to the fore-edge. VG.
The dustjacket is unclipped, tiny laminate chip to top corner of the rear panel and at the spine a small enclosed tear corresponding with the event described above. A bit of creasing around all the edges but as can be seen from the accompanying images it presents fairly well and its colour disguises these issues nicely. VG.
Laid loosely into the book is an index card (4 x 6 inches approx, pencil notes to verso), which has been signed and doodled by Ian Rankin with his Knots and Crosses motif.
