Ian Rankin - Autograph Signature and Knots and Crosses Doodle on Card, 2001

Ian Rankin (born 1960) is a Scottish crime writer and creator of Detective Inspector John Rebus. Knots and Crosses (1987) was his debut novel and the first book in the Rebus series, one of the most successful crime fiction series in British publishing history.

A plain white card bearing Ian Rankin's hand-written signature and a Knots and Crosses doodle. Measures approximately 6" x 4". Pencil notes to verso. Can be trimmed for mounting in a book if required.

Provenance: obtained in person by Clive Bullimore at a book-signing event at Waterstones Piccadilly, London, on 10 April 2001.
