Published in London by Collins, 1934, the 7th Impression of this title which was originally published in 1930.

A "Cheap" edition, one of the publisher's  7d novels. Pocket-sized hardcover, red boards with black titles at the backstrip, 288 pages.

A reasonably square and firm binding still, noticeably spotted (foxed) at all three edges, affecting the extreme margins of the pages occasionally. Corners and spine tips bumped/rubbed a little, only.

Dustjacket unclipped. Colour-faded at the spine, minor nicks at extremities, lower corners split with small loss.

Still a presentable copy, however, of this cheaply-made and mass-produced edition, and extremely uncommon in the dustjacket which features striking artwork.
