UK editions of the Hardy Boys are considerably scarcer than their American counterparts and are increasingly sought after by series collectors. Pp. 224, frontispiece, red-coloured illustrated endpapers. Original publisher boards with titles and decoration in blue at the upper cover and spine.

Condition: Good. The original colouring to the top edge has faded significantly but remains discernible. Large contemporary gift inscription at half-title. Spine ends crushed; bump to the lower edge of the lower cover.

Dustjacket: Fair. Unclipped, with original price of 6/- net. Fairly substantial chips at the spine ends and corners and to the lower panel bottom edge.
