Edward Albee - Autograph Signature on Card, BBC London 1994

Edward Albee (1928–2016) was an American playwright, widely considered one of the greatest dramatists of the twentieth century. Best known for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1962) — adapted into the landmark 1966 film starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton — he also wrote The Zoo Story (1958) and A Delicate Balance (1966), for which he won the Pulitzer Prize.

A plain white card bearing the playwright's hand-written signature. Measures approximately 6" x 4". Can be trimmed for mounting if required.

Provenance: obtained in person at BBC Studios, London, in 1994, from the collection of Clive Bullimore, a prolific and well-documented autograph collector.
