Edmund Dulac’s Fairy Book — fairy tales of the Allied nations retold and illustrated by Edmund Dulac, one of the foremost illustrators of the Golden Age of illustration. First published in 1916; this is an undated later printing, circa the 1920s. Marine blue (or possibly faded green) decorated cloth with gilt titles and black unicorn motif to the upper cover, gilt titles to the backstrip. Pp. 174 (prelims unpaginated). 15 colour plates tipped in, frontispiece tissue-guarded; all plates present.
Condition: Good. Very sunned at the backstrip; spine tips and corners worn and slightly ragged. Copy remains reasonably tight and square. No foxing or spotting; no ownership inscriptions.
