Cornelia Funke - Dragon Rider - Red Endpapers Issue, Signed

Published by The Chicken House, London, 2004. Hardcover. First UK edition, first printing of Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, translated by Anthea Bell.

Red endpapers issue — one of approximately 500 copies. Waterstones commissioned 1,000 signed and numbered copies with red endpapers in a slipcase as a limited edition; in the event only 500 were used for that purpose, and the remaining 500 were distributed to Waterstones shops and shelved alongside the ordinary trade edition. Many were purchased unwittingly and are now scarce in unread condition.

Signed by Cornelia Funke.

Condition: As New. A perfect, unread copy.
