The author was an actor who, with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous, eventually overcame his demons.

Something of a classic in the genre and in unusually decent condition. Pushed at the spine tips but a tight, square copy in the original dustjacket which has a few scrapes at the extremities but is otherwise in nice clean condition.  A rare book.
