Arthur Hailey - Autograph Signature on Card, 1997

Arthur Hailey (1920–2004) was a British-born Canadian novelist best known for his meticulously researched blockbuster novels, including Hotel (1965), Airport (1968), and Wheels (1971). Airport was adapted into a highly successful film in 1970. He was a consistent international bestseller throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

A plain white card bearing the author's hand-written signature, with a small smudge. Measures approximately 6" x 4". Pencil notes to verso.

Provenance: obtained in person at BBC Centre, London, in 1997, from the collection of Clive Bullimore, a prolific and well-documented autograph collector.
