Old Negatives — a sequence of four interconnected graphic poems by Alasdair Gray, published by Jonathan Cape, London, 1989. Trade paperback edition, pp. 67, illustrated.

A unique presentation copy, inscribed by Gray to his son Andrew at the half-title, and with the author's hand-written corrections to four leaves throughout the book — making this both a family association copy and an authorial working copy simultaneously.

Alasdair Gray (1934–2019) was one of Scotland's most significant and idiosyncratic literary and visual artists, best known for Lanark (1981). His manuscripts, corrections, and inscribed copies are held in major collections and are increasingly sought after.

A little turned at the corners but in Very Good, clean condition otherwise. A genuinely unique copy.
